Dear Patients:

It is with mixed emotions that I decided to take a long leave of absence from active medical practice, effective January 31st, 2026. It has been an honor, privilege, and a great pleasure providing for your health care needs over the years, and it is not easy for me to give it up for – possibly – an extended period.

As of February 1st, 2026, all 5 gastroenterologists at Digestive Health Associates agreed to be custodian of your medical records, and to continue to deliver excellent care for you. These doctors are Dr. G.S. Ramesh, Dr. J. George Sun, Dr. Joseph Krill, Dr. Cristian Dominguez, and Dr. Farid Abushamad. I have known all five physicians for many years, and I am sure they will take excellent care of you should you choose to see them. Their contact information is as follows:

Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or another person you designate only with your permission. All your medical records will be safely stored and available to you for the next 7 years at Digestive Health Associates.
